【Warning: Emo and long-winded post】

I shall now announce to all that,
I have FINALLY finished the most TIRING and DRAINING exam in my whole life.
Yes,
the STRE.

2 months of reclusion,
2 months of frequent nightmares,
2 months of emotional and mental struggle,
2 months to make miracles happen.
4 straight days of stress, agony and 心悸(or tachycardia)
5 papers to test 5 years of work including 4 basics and 6 areas of specialisation.

Basically I've gone through quite alot within this 2 months,
And even more within the 4 days.
I've been studying blindly, not knowing what to expect.
Sometimes I just don't know why I'm doing all these.
Sometimes, I run out of energy and motivation and simply wanted to slack, and I'll feel guilty after that.
At other times, I just wanted to give up.
At times I thought I could make it.
When I've hit my limit, I thought I couldn't make it.
I was feeling all these cyclically and it was torturous.

First 2 days of exam was nothing but tiring.
Very very draining.
I had so much to revise the day before every paper.

Nightmare came on Day 3....
I was given 20min to prepare for the whole exam, after which I will be accessed by 3 examiners in areas like pasting the acupoints acurately, doing cupping n stuff, and answering theoretical questions.
In fact, this was my most confident paper, cos acu was one of my strongest subject.
And after having gone through 2 mocks, I knew I could and I had to score in this.
But I totally under-performed under my own nervousness.
I made careless mistakes and eventually did not manage to finish all 10 acupoints, not to mention careless mistake like left/right; in/out which caused me to lose many marks.
I couldn't believe how and why I under-performed.
It felt as though I just ruined 2 months of hardwork.
And even though there was a last paper the next day,
it was hard to pick myself up and continue.
It was such a huge blow to my confidence that I lost all motivation to push myself for the last lap.
I was upset, disappointed and angry. =((

Luckily I picked a rather easy paper on Day 4 and redeemed myself and thus my STRE did not end on such a sad note.
haha.

Well, this STRE is still based on every single portion that you were tested.

And I am still very worried.

But I can only keep my fingers crossed now since there'e nothing I can do about it anymore!

So I shall take this opportunity to thank those who have been giving me encouragement all these while.
Those who believed I could do it.
Even though it was a small "jiayou" it really mattered a lot to me!
Heartfelt and sincere thanks =)

I think I've aged a lot these couple of months!
Nonetheless, I am glad I've finally gone through and survived it.
Leave the rest to fate!

Now that my course has finally come to a more conclusive closure, I can now finally finally start thinking about my carreer and look for a proper job. haha!

Anyways,
I sinerely sincerely wish you guys all the best in your whatever you are doing now.

Do not give up,

“ 加油!!!”
